Certified Nurse Assistant/Home Health Aide


Enter the career of professional nursing as a CNA plus CHHA. Learn basic nursing theory and skills. Experience hands-on clinical rotations in nursing facilities. State certification testing is given on school site. Meets CNA requirement for university RN programs. Prerequisite: Interested individuals must attend an orientation prior to registration.

A mandatory orientation will be held prior to registration in the CNA program.

Clinical Medical Assistant
Become a Clinical Medical Assistant in the growing and demanding area of healthcare! This comprehensive 260 hour, 17 week program will prepare you to take the state CMA examination. Students will learn to perform back office procedures including vital signs, preparing and administering injections, drawing blood, collecting specimens, taking electrocardiograms, recording and charting patient history, preparing patients for x-rays and examinations, applying bandages and dressings, as well as other treatments and procedures. Successful students will be offered an opportunity to enroll in an optional clinical externship program*.Cost of the program $1395

*Externship Program: Students who qualify and are recommended may spend 140 hours of practical application in assigned supervised health care settings. While externships are not required in order to take the state CMA exam, externships increase skill practice and employability. Students who qualify and are placed in externships will pay an additional fee of $490 for this optional program.
