How to Support a Teen in Crisis

Do you want to learn ways to support your Middle or High school teenager through these stressful times?  This class will provide parents and guardians with strategies to help pre-teens and teens living through a crisis. The first class will cover basic child development, how to determine your pre-teen or teenager's needs, and highlight stress management strategies. The second class will focus on coping during the COVID-19 pandemic as well as coping skills and resources for pre-teens and teens.

Previously, she worked with San Francisco Unified School District as well as UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital. She holds a B.A. (in Sociology) as well as a Masters of Social Welfare from the University of California, Berkeley. She is passionate about supporting teens as they navigate complex social situations.
