This class will provide parents and guardians with strategies to help pre-teens and teens living through a crisis. The first class will cover basic child development, how to determine your pre-teen or teenager's needs, and highlight stress management strategies. The second class will focus on coping during the COVID-19 pandemic as well as coping skills and resources for pre-teens and teens.

This 4-part series of online workshops will explore evidence based practices that give caregivers the tools they need to manage the stress and needs that have arisen during the current global pandemic. Parents and caregivers will learn concrete behavioral strategies that cover (1) using schedules and routines, (2) re-establishing family norms in distance learning, (3) positive parenting, and (4) proactive teaching of social emotional skills. This series will have useful tools for all age ranges.
