Winter Registration for New Students

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, all English as a Second Language classes are currently being taught online on Zoom.  

Classes for the winter quarter will begin on Monday, November 9. In-person testing for new students will be held during the first week of November. Español 中文

Testing Appointments

You must sign up for a testing appointment in advance to determine class placement. The tests will be done at our school in very small groups for public health and safety. The test takes about one hour. Please do not bring children. 

You may schedule an appointment to take an in-person test beginning on Monday, September 8. Click here to make an appointment.

We have a small number of remote testing (from your home) appointments available using your computer and Zoom. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.if you would like to schedule a remote testing appointment.

To register for an appointment to test, follow these directions:

  • Click on the “Click Here” box
  • Choose a testing appointment and click on “Register Now”
  • Create an Account: look for “New Customers, Create an Account”
  • Follow the instructions complete the registration

Health Screening Survey

All students must complete a Health Screening Survey the morning of your testing appointment. To complete the survey, click on the language: English, Spanish, Chinese, Arabic  

No one will be allowed to test if they are sick or are unable to answer the health screening survey.  


Test takers must wear a mask over their mouth and nose during the entire test session.

Learn More About Our Online ESL Program

Our ESL classes are taught by experienced ESL teachers.  Classes offer students  support and many opportunities to learn to read, speak, listen, and write in English. You are welcome here!  No documents needed. Must be 18 years of age or older to attend. 

Morning and evening classes are available. Classes are entirely online. Classes include a Zoom class meeting online with your teacher, learning in small groups, and time to talk to your teacher if you need extra help. Class attendance and daily homework are required.  

Testing does NOT guarantee placement in a class, students may be placed on a waiting list if their level or preferred class is full.
