Zoom Basics

Instructor: Matthews

Even if you haven’t been working from home this past year, you’ve probably heard about Zoom. The video conferencing app is a great way for people to get together and stay connected during these challenging times.

Whether you want to stay in touch with relatives and friends, organize an online book club, or participate in a virtual dinner party, Zoom can help you make it happen. Whether you just want to learn how to participate in Zoom meetings or want to learn how to host one, this is the class for you.

Note(s): Students will receive a Zoom invitation link before the first class.

All classes are utilizing distance learning via the internet on Zoom. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, in-person classroom instruction is not available. When on-campus instruction becomes available and is safe for students and teachers, we will modify accordingly.
Instructor Bio: Mike Matthews is a member of the Apple Consultants Network and has been teaching classes about all of Apple’s products at various East Bay adult schools for over a decade. He is grateful that we no longer have to worry about floppy disks.
