Detox With "Whole" Foods

Instructor: Blanc

This year detox is more important than ever. Just by living in an urban environment and participating in a modern lifestyle we routinely accumulate a burden of toxins in our bodies that need to be cleared. To add insult to injury, this year we have all been exposed to prolonged smoke, including the combustion byproducts of burning vehicles, appliances, and building materials, oh my!

Luckily there are many foods, herbs, nutrients and habits that can help us detox safely and gently. A 3-week nutrition and lifestyle plan can revitalize body, mind and spirit. Understand how to build self-care and “everyday detox” into your life.

Learn how to identify hidden toxins and why it is so important to clear them. We will also cover lab testing. Although we can’t physically share food in a virtual class, I will provide recipes and video demos to help all experience the featured therapeutic foods and recipes.

Note(s): Students will receive a Zoom invitation link before the first class.

All classes are utilizing distance learning via the internet on Zoom. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, in-person classroom instruction is not available. When on-campus instruction becomes available and is safe for students and teachers, we will modify accordingly.
