With the support of a chair, this is a gentle class that emphasizes proper breathing, correct spinal and pelvic alignment, improved balance, stretch, and posture. With a seated or standing assist, you will activate the body and mind.
If you feel you have lost some mobility or muscle strength or even balance, come and join us to reverse these feelings and have some fun together. The chair replaces the yoga mat and becomes an extension of your body, allowing you to take full advantage of the amazing potential of yoga. Yoga can really be for everyone!
Note(s):All yoga classes include a combination of live instruction with your teacher on Zoom plus a link to an additional recorded practice session that will be sent to you so you can practice on your own! The link to the recorded practice session will be good for the entire quarter.
All classes are utilizing distance learning via the internet on Zoom. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, in-person classroom instruction is not available. When on-campus instruction becomes available and is safe for students and teachers, we will modify accordingly.Instructor Bio:Antonella Dalla Muta creates an environment “on the mat,” where participants can forget their troubles, fears and worries, and enter a world of comfort, harmony and balance, and be at a place where they can experience healing. For Antonella, it’s all about the journey. Everyone wants to get to the top of the mountain, but the happiness comes while you’re climbing it!
