Melt and Restore Pilates

An expensive spa massage is not the only way to relieve muscle tightness and tensions. Join us and experience muscle tension release through foam rolling in this unique blend of self-massage and the Pilates technique, melt and restore!

You will learn how to repair your muscles and joints with a combination of Pilates movements and pressure point therapy myofascial release.

This class helps reduce muscle soreness and tension, as well as increase body performance and reduce the risk of injury.

Pilates focuses on core stability, strength and overall fitness, making it the perfect exercise to train and reset the entire body.

Note(s): Students must bring their own mat and a theraband. This class is not recommended for those experiencing osteoporosis, diabetes, high blood pressure, varicose veins, or women who are pregnant. Instructor Bio: Brijett Ireland is a Balanced Body Comprehensively certified Pilates teacher, as well as a science teacher in the Castro Valley Unified School District. As a Pilates instructor, she learned many techniques and practices to adapt and enhance the Pilates workout for teaching all body types. As new parents, she and her husband enjoy spending time with each other and their new son. She has her own Pilates practice and sees its benefits in her everyday life. She enjoys eating delicious foods, running, hiking and backpacking. As a recent resident of Castro Valley, she is especially excited to be working in and with her neighborhood community.
