This class continues to increase vocabulary and build upon grammar concepts. The class emphasizes workplace communication by helping students gain a solid foundation in grammar, writing, and conversation.

Upon completing this class students will know how to describe someone, ask for directions, and understand the usage of the verbs Ser and Estar. Although the focus of this course is workplace communication, students will also be able to apply skills to travel, shopping and daily conversation with Spanish speakers.

Prerequisite(s): Satisfactory completion of Spanish Level II or permission of the instructor. Twenty two years ago, she and her daughter moved to the United States. Emilce has been teaching Spanish to both children and adults in the Bay Area for 16 years. She served as the Director of a Spanish Enrichment Program for 310 elementary school students and continues to educate about the Hispanic culture and traditions at a private East Bay school. Her hobbies include traveling and learning about other cultures.
