Spanish I (Winter/New) (Spring/Continuing)

Instructor: Olroyd

Do you want to learn to speak Spanish for work or travel but don’t know where to begin? Did you take Spanish in high school but have forgotten most of what you learned? This fun entry-level class will get you started, even if you have never tried Spanish before.

You will learn key phrases that will let you understand co-workers or get around when you travel in Spanish-speaking countries. You will learn basic vocabulary, grammar, culture and practice conversational Spanish in a relaxed, supportive classroom setting.

Spanish I (Winter) is for true beginning students with no Spanish language experience. Spanish I (Spring) is for students continuing from Fall/Winter or those with basic beginner knowledge of Spanish only.

Students will receive a Zoom invitation link before the first class.

All classes are utilizing distance learning via the internet on Zoom. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, in-person classroom instruction is not available. When on-campus instruction becomes available and is safe for students and teachers, we will modify accordingly.
