Italian Conversation Beginner 4

Instructor: Lorenzon

This is a hands-on class focusing on the development of conversational skills in Italian. It is meant as continuation for those who have already attended Italian Beginner III with me in Spring 2018, or have a similar competence in the language.

Students will master their listening and speaking skills, through class and group participation. In class, we will also analyze more deeply the most challenging grammar aspects presented in the book.

At the end of the course, students will be able to speak with increased confidence in the present and in the past about most of everyday situations. Returning students do not need to buy a new book.

Prerequisite(s): Italian Beginner 3 and/or Beginner Review Textbook Required: See book list Instructor Bio: Born and raised in North Eastern Italy, Francesca Lorenzon completed her studies at the University of Trieste earning a Master’s Degree with Honors in Modern Languages and Literature. She moved to the Bay Area with her family in 2011. In California she discovered her passion for teaching Italian language and culture, at first on a volunteer basis and then as a profession. She loves to read, cook and travel.
