Watercolor Basics

If you’ve been wanting to explore watercolor painting or return to it, this is your class. You’ll learn basic color theory, how to use various brushes, understanding paint/water ratios and paint mixing, and how to start and work through a painting.  Each week you’ll be given a painting project to do on your own to help reinforce and build your skills

. The class includes recorded video modules created by the instructor to help you master the techniques being covered. You can even schedule a one-on-one with instructor between classes

She believes that everyone can create art and develop "artistic skills". She currently teaches online courses in drawing, acrylic painting, and watercolor painting through Detati Art where the goal is to provide a safe, creative environment for adults to do art. She is also a member of the Santa Clara Watercolor Society and active with Silicon Valley Open Studios.
