Watercolor Basics 3

All About Water - This class will focus on learning to paint water and capture its movement and color in streams, rivers, lakes and seascape/waves. Paint along with our in-class demos that show you the techniques and styles for painting water features.

In each class, you’ll be given a painting project to do on your own to help reinforce and build your skills. You can even schedule a one-on-one with the instructor between classes.

Prerequisite(s): Watercolor Basics 1, 2 or previous watercolor experience Note(s): Students will receive a Zoom invitation link before the first class.

All classes are utilizing distance learning via the internet on Zoom. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, in-person classroom instruction is not available. When on-campus instruction becomes available and is safe for students and teachers, we will modify accordingly.
No Class: 4/6 Instructor Bio: Roberta Kiphuth is a small business owner and artist located in the South Bay. She currently teaches online courses in drawing, acrylic painting, and watercolor painting through Detati Art where the goal is to provide a safe, creative environment for adults to do art. She is also a member of the Santa Clara Watercolor Society and on the board for Silicon Valley Visual Arts.
