Silk Screening With Stencils

Come create a custom design to be printed on bags, T-Shirts and scarves. Learn how to cut and make a stencil to use with a silkscreen. Leave the 3 hour class with two custom made giftable items.

Materials fee covers supplies and two items to print on (canvas bag, t-shirt or infinity scarf). Feel free to bring additional items you would like to print on and any drawings/ ideas/pictures you would like to use for inspiration.

Her passion to teach and inspire students has allowed her 12+ years experience of teaching art at Castro Valley High School. She has also taught classes at Patten University and Academy of Art and conducts private lessons in her studio. She has earned a BFA in painting and an MA in Art and Religion. She currently enjoys exploring texture and design through the medium of encaustic collage. Layers and texture are important elements in her work revealing a variety of materials. Inspiration is found within natural elements, vintage drawings, playful child inspired designs, religious symbols, and language. You can see some examples of her encaustic work at
