If you’ve been wanting to explore watercolor painting or return to it, this is your class. You’ll learn basic color theory, how to use various brushes, understanding paint/water ratios and paint mixing, and how to start and work through a painting.  Each week you’ll be given a painting project to do on your own to help reinforce and build your skills

Learn drawing fundamentals and the ability to really "see" what you are drawing through line, form, value, composition and various techniques for creating more realistic drawings. Live demos and drawing projects will help you build your drawing skills. The class includes recorded video modules created by the instructor to help you master the techniques being covered. You can even schedule a one-on-one with instructor between classes.

Parents of children with developmental disabilities and/or special needs often have questions about the rights of their children such as: Am I legally able to make medical decisions for my child after age 18? What does it mean to have my child “conserved” and under what circumstances would this be an option? What impact would receiving an inheritance have on my child’s ability to receive government benefits like SSI or Medi-Cal?

This essential class is designed to strengthen the core muscles surrounding your spine whether you are performing standing 3-dimensional movement or mat exercises. Challenge your core and create the wellbalanced body you’ve been looking for!

In this continuation course, students will continue with the beginning fundamentals of the Spanish language, including pronunciation, basic vocabulary, and grammar. Emphasis will be placed on simple conversational situations.

With the support of a chair, this is a gentle class that emphasizes proper breathing, correct spinal and pelvic alignment, improved balance, stretch, and posture. With a seated or standing assist, you will activate the body and mind.

Gentle Yoga is designed to be an introduction to Yoga, with a mild and soft approach, dedicated to people with reduced mobility and flexibility.

This class continues to increase vocabulary and build upon grammar concepts. The class emphasizes workplace communication by helping students gain a solid foundation in grammar, writing, and conversation.

Notaries must:

  • Be 18 years old
  • Be a California resident
  • Read, write, and understand English
  • Successfully complete this course
  • Pass a state exam (30 multiple-choice questions)
  • Pass a background check

Upon completing this class you will have learned to conjugate irregular and reflexive verbs in the present tense and will have been introduced to the usage of verbs in the past tense. Your conversation and reading abilities will have improved substantially.

Do you want to learn to speak Spanish for work or travel but don’t know where to begin? Did you take Spanish in high school but have forgotten most of what you learned? This fun entry-level class will get you started. If you have never tried Spanish before, this class is for you.

Yang and Yin are the patterns of our life, and in nature all patterns are formed by opposite and complementary principles: hot and cold, active and passive, matter and energy, female and male, summer and winter, etc. A Yang/Yin class balances these contrasts in our physical and energetic body.

Zumba® puts the fun in fitness! Exciting music from around the world will get you moving and sweating using easy to follow dance moves. Zumba® requires no dance experience and is open to all fitness levels making it fun for everybody and every body! Come ready to sweat, smile, and focus on having fun.

Do you wonder how the new tax laws impact your estate planning? Do you wonder whether you need a trust or who to put in charge of your estate?

This class is for students who have already taken the Basic Italian class or its equivalent, or have instructor approval. If you have no experience with Italian, please register for Basic Italian in the Fall quarter. This course focuses on developing conversation skills at a beginner level, for students who already have a basic knowledge of the fundamentals of the language.
