Windows 10 Essential Skills (Basic Computer Course)

Whether you’re using Windows for the first time, or upgrading from an older version, Essential Skills will show you what you need to know. Learn about the new Windows 10 Operating System, working with apps, files and folders, the web and social media, and much more.

Highlights of this course include:

  • Learn about the new start screen, how to personalize start menu tiles, and access your familiar desktop.
  • Manage files and folders. Understand storage locations, the cloud, flash drives, and file explorer.
  • Create, rename, copy, and move files and folders.
  • Begin basic word processing of documents on the computer and web apps.
  • Certificate of Competency awarded upon successful completion.
