To everything - turn, turn, turn
There is a season - turn, turn, turn
And a time for every purpose under heaven
Spring is the time of rebirth, renewal and change, even for organizations like Castro Valley Adult and Career Education (CVACE). By the time you read this message, Jerry Green will have retired as Director of CVACE. During his eight years as Director, Jerry has made CVACE one of the preeminent Adult and Career Education programs in the Bay Area. Words on a page can never capture everything Jerry has done for thousands of students, or thank him for his time and efforts to provide Castro Valley with high quality programs that truly support lifelong learning. We wish Jerry the best in his retirement.
We welcome Susie Passeggi as the new CVACE Director. Susie joined CVACE this fall after twentyfour years with the Mt. Diablo USD Adult Education program. Susie hit the ground running in the fall and has established the first district Parent University for April 21 (www.cvadult.org/parenting). Susie will continue to enhance programs that meet the lifelong learning needs of the community. She is very interested in hearing from you.
Finally, as I always do, I encourage you to take a moment to review this catalog to see the wide variety of classes that support lifelong learning. There is a class for every interest. I usually find four to five classes of personal interest. So will you. Share the catalog with your friends and enroll
together. I look forward to seeing you in one of our classes this spring.
