Whole Foods Cooking Class
We all know we should eat more vegetables and
whole grains to support good health, immunity
and detoxification, but do you know how to
select and prepare these foods so they are really
delicious and easy to digest? This class will introduce
you to some superstar foods you might
not be familiar with, and should go a long way
toward convincing you of their powerful health
benefits. Class will include a short presentation
and then we will prepare several nutrient-dense,
delicious dishes together, including an herbal
yogurt cheese starter, braised kale and shitake
mushroom medley, a tasty bean and collard
greens soup and a sea vegetable salad. As Hippocrates
(the father of modern medicine) advised:
“Let food be thy medicine”. Recipes, shopping
tips, and helpful educational handouts will be
provided. Necessary food items are included
in the price of the class.
