Woodworking Beginning
Your woodworking experience begins here!
Whether you are just starting or are an experienced
woodworker, you will enjoy this class. Let
Jim Vice teach you the fundamentals of precision
woodworking or help refresh skills you may have
learned years ago. You will learn to properly use
both machine and hand tools including sanders,
drills, router, jointer, doweling jig and basic
machine setups. Skills you learn can be applied
in both the workplace and at home. Each student
will apply these skills while making a garden
table with tile top. Emphasis will be on safety.
Students will need safety glasses, ear plugs, a dust mask, and a #2 pencil. A materials fee of
$40 is payable to instructor on first night of
class. Students will need to provide their own
tile pieces later in the course. 10 classes
