Woodworking Intermediate - Octagon Table
This class is for anyone who has completed Jim
Vice’s Beginning Woodworking Course. The
project will be a beautiful Octagon Table with an
S curve inlayed top and a parquet lower shelf. The
goal of the class will be to teach advanced uses of
table saw and router table including pattern cutting.
Lessons taught will focus on advanced skills
such as cutting out table legs using a bandsaw. The
spindle sander, drill press, and an assortment of
hand tools will be used as well. There will be a
materials fee that includes all wood and hardware.
Students are required to bring safety glasses, a
dust mask, and a #2 pencil. A materials fee of
$75.00 is payable to the instructor on the first
night of class. 10 classes
