Looking to improve your basic skills before entering the High School Diploma or GED program? Our Academic Transitions Distance Learning course allows you to work at home on your own time. Instruction is given through weekly one-on-one appointments with the teacher, access to school computer lab, take-home learning materials including workbooks, readers, CDs, and access to internet learning programs.

This hybrid class allows GED Distance Learning students to come to for a mini math or writing lesson, work on your individual subjects, as well as use the GED computer software to improve skills. The instructor will be available to work with students individually and in small groups.

Credit Recovery - Concurrent Enrollment for High School Students

High school students seeking “make-up” credit may enroll concurrently in the adult school after meeting with a high school counselor and parent/caregiver to obtain a release form. Only Castro Valley High School and Redwood High School students are admitted.
