GED for Non-Native Speakers will focus on reading comprehension and essay skills. Taught by a CVACE ESL instructor.

Receive targeted teacher-led test preparation, then complete the rest of your assignments in a GED prep book with an online component. Learn the essential content you need to pass the GED, including test-taking strategies and computer skills for the new GED exam.

Give your math skills the boost they need to be successful in our High School Diploma or GED Test Prep classes. The focus is on fractions and decimals. Plenty of in-class support and practice.

Credit Recovery - Concurrent Enrollment for High School Seniors and Juniors

High school students seeking make-up credit may enroll concurrently in the adult school after meeting with their high school counselor to determine eligibility, completing an application including parental release form, and attending an orientation with parent/ guardian. Only Castro Valley High School and Redwood High School seniors and juniors are admitted.

Looking to improve your reading, writing, and math skills before entering our High School Diploma or GED program? Our Academic Transitions program gives you the skills you need to succeed. Come to class for teacher-led instruction, and work independently at home with a textbook and computer-based skills program.
