Looking to improve your reading, writing, and math skills before entering our High School Diploma or GED program? Our Academic Transitions program gives you the skills you need to succeed. Come to class twice a week for teacher-led instruction, and work independently at home with a textbook and computer-based skills program.
Get your GED done by focusing on the areas you need to strengthen! Receive targeted teacher-led test preparation in math and writing then complete the rest of your assignments online from any internet connection. Learn the essential content you need to pass the GED, including test taking strategies and computer skills for the new 2014 GED exam.
Credit Recovery - Concurrent Enrollment for High School Students
High school students seeking “make-up” credit may enroll concurrently in the adult school after meeting with their high school counselor and parent/caregiver to obtain a release form. Only Castro Valley High School and Redwood High School students are admitted.
Students should call for an appointment to meet with Dustin Gacherieu, Assistant Principal, Castro Valley Adult and Career Education at 886-1000.
