Ready to lighten your load? We all accumulate a burden of toxins in our bodies from the environment, food, water and even personal care products. A seasonal food and herb-based detox regimen not only helps maintain health and supports weight loss, it can reduce digestive problems, headaches, fatigue, skin problems and allergies. Is it hard to do? Luckily there are many foods and herbs that can help detox safely and gently. This is NOT a Hollywood-style “fast and purge” type of detox! This class will guide you through a 3-week eating and lifestyle plan that will revitalize your body, mind and spirit. You will discover how to build self-care and “everyday detox” into your life, and learn how to minimize exposures from hidden toxins. Each class will include samples of detoxifying and cleansing foods and herbal teas. Dump the “junk” and see how better you feel! See Companion hands-on cooking class in Culinary Section of the website.
Teacher material fee $15.
