Financial Assistance Needed: In response to inquiries from community members, and in order to help address budget shortfalls, we have established a process for community members to donate directly to either our Student Scholarship Fund or to a Designated Subject Area Program of the donator’s choosing. All Scholarship Funds will go directly to reducing the course registration fees for students with financial needs (students apply through the Main Office). Subject Area donations will be used to maintain or expand the specific program area designated by the contributor - Adults with Disabilities or Career and Technical Training for example.
Contributions can be made via our website at www.cvadult.org or through our Main Office. Office staff will ask that checks be made out to Castro Valley Adult and Career Education with a note on the bottom of the check specifying either “Scholarship Fund” or the Designated Program Area of your choosing. Each donation will be acknowledged by Castro Valley Adult and Career Education (a non-profit organization) with a letter from the Director, a Donation Memo to the Board of Education, and recognition in our next quarterly brochure. Thank you for considering a contribution to either the Scholarship Fund or the Designated Subject Area Fund.
As always, wishing you joy in your pursuit of life-long learning.
